"Nick, party of 13?" —Nick Cannon at the Chili's host stand, probably.
It was revealed this week that the Wild 'n Out host was expecting his third child with Abby De La Rosa. Last week, Alyssa Scott made it public that she was pregnant with her and Cannon's second child. If you're keeping count, that brings the number of Cannon kids up to 12 after the birth of Rise Messiah and Onyx Ice Cole in September.
When news of Cannon's newest baby with De La Rosa broke this week, Chili's had the most epic response on Twitter. "don't worry @NickCannon we don't limit kids meals," the restaurant's social media account wrote. Cannon kept the laughs coming with his reply. "Kool, we gonna need 12 orders of the “baby” back ribs!!!" he said, to which Chili's replied, "We have 12 orders ready (and the 13th waiting just incase)."
Abby De La Rosa first announced she was pregnant back in June with a photo of her lying in bed with balloons behind her that read "BABY." She hinted at the possibility of having another set of twins — Abby and Nick share 1-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir. While it was unclear who was the father of the baby from her social media post, TMZ confirmed Cannon was the father.
This week, De La Rosa took to her Instagram Stories to share a hilarious meme which confirmed Cannon was the father. The meme said, "1 night with a Libra can turn into 3-4 years 😮💨 be careful." She added the following caption: "😂 damn! lol 1 night turned into 4 years and 3 kids real quick...I see no lies here smh. y'all be safe out there 😂"
TMZ reported back in June that the baby's due date was October 25.
News of De La Rosa's pregnancy came about a week after Alyssa Scott revealed Cannon was the father of her baby on the way. She shared a stunning nude photo of her caressing her baby bump while standing in a bathtub that Cannon is sitting in. "This is a MIRACLE & a BLESSING 🤍," she wrote in the caption. Scott previously shared maternity photos on Instagram last month, but did not reveal Cannon was the father at the time.
This is the second baby for Cannon and Scott. Last year, their son Zen was diagnosed with brain cancer and died when he was 5 months old. "We were faithful and hopeful for that time. We carried on, he was still just playing with his brothers and sisters, I embraced every moment," he said on his talk show at the time, according to People. Scott is also the mother to 4-year-old Zeela from a previous relationship.
