As Tank fans prepare for the release of his forthcoming new album Elevation, the R&B singer is sharing another new song from the release called "I Don't Think You're Ready."
"I Don't Think You're Ready" is another sexy bedroom jam showcasing Tank's smooth vocals while he sings the sensual lyrics, "I wanna take you to your limit, I wanna go where you don't/ Make a decision, baby/ You got the fire that I'm looking for, baby."
In teasing the track, Tank wrote on Instagram, "Everything sexy about the summer belongs to me and i promise to share it with you." He also shared a video from vacation in beautiful Positano, Italy explaining what fans can expect for the rest of the year. The General said, "We dropped 'Dirty,' f***** up the beginning of the summer, then we gonna drop 'I Don't Think You're Ready,' f*** up the end of the summer. Then we're going on tour. We'll drop Elevation in the middle of all that. Then we're gonna hit the road and present it to you. This is what I do. I bring you R&B. It's my job, it's my function, it's my purpose. I will continue to do that."
"I Don't Think You're Ready" is the second single from Elevation, which is set to be released this fall, following the effort's lead track "Dirty." Elevation will be Tank's ninth full-length studio album following 2017's Savage, and after its release he'll be sharing the new music live with fans as he hits the road on a major US tour.
Tank had an incredible 2018 with the incredible success of his platinum-selling single "When We," which is from his 2017 album Savage. The song held the No. 1 spot on the Mediabase chart for 11 consecutive weeks, and awarded the Mediabase No. 1 Urban AC song of 2018. The track also earned Tank an iHeartRadio Music Award nomination for R&B Song of the Year. With the release of Elevation approaching this fall, the soulful singer is sure to rise to the top once again.
