I absolutely LOVVVVEEE Michael Bivins & The work he does in the community and music industry. BBD & New Edition are my favs, but recently he received an Honorary HS Diploma from Belmont HS in Belmont Massachusetts where he dropped out in the 10th grade.
Now, Honorary HS diploma's are normally present posthumously or to those that served in our Military. MICHAEL left school to go singing.
According to blackamericaweb.com Bivins proclaimed, “It’s never too late, don’t ever feel like you can’t go back fix something and do something again. As long as you have breath, you can go back and do the same thing and maybe it’ll have a different outcome.”
I agree with Michael, However he should have gotten an earned diploma if he went back to night school or studied online to receive a diploma. The fact that they handed him one to tie his celebrity to the school, is unimpressive.
Then he could have shown young people the REAL value of muscle!
