Stormy has been in the radio industry for over 29 years. She is mother of two children and grandmother of one. She is a native of Magnolia, Arkansas. Her passion for radio and TV was birthed while attending Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. Her career began on the campus of SAU working for KSAU, the campus radio station. Her first commercial radio job was at Power 92 FM in Little Rock, AR. She later worked at KRNB in Dallas, Texas. While working for KRNB she became a member of the Potter's House where she worked and volunteered in their Television department. Stormy has been a guest on Bishop T.D. Jakes former TV show “The Potter’s Touch.” She has also been a volunteer under First Lady Serita Jakes and an invited speaker for First Lady Serita Jakes “God's Leading Lady's.” Also during her time in Dallas and while working for KRNB she worked for ABC’s “The Touch,” nationally syndicated format. After leaving KRNB in Dallas she worked for the former Oasis Jazz Radio Station as morning sidekick on the Jeff Elliot Morning Show. She has studied Acting, Radio Broadcasting and Television. She is currently a Writer, Singer and Poet and while in Dallas she also traveled the DFW area performing in live shows. Stormy currently works for iHeart Media Memphis and is an on air talent on KJMS and WDIA. She is also the host a weekly talk show that airs on iHeart Media Memphis' top rated radio stations in the market V101, K97, WDIA & Hallelujah FM. During her career she has worked with celebrities such as Kirk Franklin, Cheryl Underwood, the late Vesta Williams and Rudy Rush to name a few. She has also worked with some of the most celebrated Radio DJ’s in the country such as Skip Murphy, Joe Soto, legends Tom Joyner and Bobby O’Jay and many others.
