Aretha Franklin is currently ill and her family is asking for our prayers. Reports are not clear if she is in the hospital but she is said to be surrounded by her family and friends.
Close friend Tom Joyner of V101 says that she has been in hospice for about a month when talking about her this morning on the radio.
He also said that she has not been taking visitors though reports say she is surrounded by family and friends.
